The concept for Mommy Mitten™ was developed by Amy Sapirstein, a fashionable mom living in New York City who recognized a need for a stylish and easily accessible way to keep her hands warm while strolling her 2-year old daughter around town. 

“My hands were always cold, especially when I was running around with my daughter in her stroller,” said Amy.  “It was a process to keep my gloves on when trying to push the stroller, answer my cellphone, and keep my baby’s gloves on.
