Mimijumi helps nursing moms transition baby to feed from the bottle
I remember how difficult it was to transition my son from breastfeeding to the bottle. I wish I knew about Mimijumi!
I received the "Very Hungry" baby bottle (8 oz) to review. The product packaging is unique. It's a miniature milk carton with a clever design. One panel allows you to sneak peak at the bottle inside through the milk drops window. The other panel shows a photo of the product states the benefits of using the product: Designed for you and your baby, creating the most natural bottle-feeding experience possible." It's repeated again in French. The fourth panel has the Mimijumi icon - a smiley-faced milk drop.
The benefit of the Mimijumi bottle is that it aids in prolonging breastfeeding, so the baby can enhance their immunity system, prevent obesity and diabetes later in life - the natural benefits of breastfeeding.
"The unique nipple feature mimics a breast, so the baby latches onto the nipple as they would latch onto a natural mother's breast. This is key when transitioning between breast and bottle."
What are the other benfits?
- Free of BPA and phthalates, and easy to clean and fill.
- Soft silicon nipple is textured and colored to resemble skin, and includs an integrated ventilation system to aid in the baby's digestion.
My sister is pregnant and she will write about her experience transitioning from breastfeeding to the bottle, in about a year or so. We'll post an update with her testimonial.
The "Very Hungry" baby bottle and nipples retail for $149.99 and the "Not So Hungry" baby bottle (4 oz) is $13.99, both nationwide and onle a thenewmomshop.com.
