MomToBeDepot was created out of the need to have one resource for new moms that provided:

  • unbiased reviews of cool products for mom & baby
  • advice from leading national experts and authors
  • information about how to take excellent care of yourself - while you are pregnant and after.

In March 2007, Lauri Harrison gave birth to her second child, Sam. 

She discovered that having a pregnancy in your early 40s, doesn't have to be 'high risk" or problematic.  She also discovered that it was difficult to find everything she was looking for about pregnancy all in one place.  Sure there are excellent web sites out there providing plenty of information.  But she spent hours and hours trying to find those sites.  Lauri thought there could be an easier way for expecting moms to obtain much needed information.  Hence the birth of MomToBeDepot.com! 

Lauri is also the mother of a teenage daughter (16 in 2009) - and couldn't believe how much she had forgotten about taking care of babies!  Burping, feeding, sleeping, etc. - all seemed to be brand new experiences.
